Lisa Kistler is currently the Executive Director of Litigation & Investigations at Astellas Pharma, Inc.  Astellas is a Japanese multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Tokyo, with The Americas headquartered in Illinois.

At Astellas, Lisa leads global complex litigations and investigations and e-discovery.  She has a unique blend of legal, technical, business, and analytic skills.  Lisa manages global attorneys and paralegals and directs cross-functional teams on a wide range of complex corporate efforts that involve changing technologies, identifying opportunities, reducing risk and exposure, and driving the business forward.

Prior to Astellas, Lisa directed in-house legal and e-discovery efforts in both the pharmaceutical and food industries.  She started her career at a litigation boutique in Chicago, and then served as global litigation and investigations senior in-house counsel at Abbott Laboratories and litigation senior counsel at McDonald’s Corporation, respectively.
